I first heard of him when he teamed up with David Sylvian ( Lead Vocalist – Japan), they produced a magical piece of music called: “Forbidden Colours”

iTunes have announced that they will be embarking on a first-of-its-kind deal, partnering with Japanese musician, Ryuichi Sakamoto as he releases his new album. The forthcoming album, entitled Out Of Noise, is Sakamoto’s first in five years. The highly anticipated march release will be followed by a Japanese tour that takes in 18 cities in 21 shows. The good news for fans not lucky enough to make a gig, is, the exclusive partnership with iTunes means that every single performance will be recorded and made available to purchase through the iTunes Music Store.
